This was originally a very large commercially zoned site that featured an abandoned supermarket. What eventually became, in the words of the then Co-Director of Planning, “the most successful re-zoning outside the Downtown District”, resulted in a 400,000 square foot mixed use, multi-tower project which included a new supermarket, residential units, retail stores, a fitness centre, offices, a bank, and a Vancouver Public Library.
