Intermediate Technologist

We are looking for an enthusiatic, motivated and passionate Intern Architects or Architectural Technologists to join our Vancouver office. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative and exciting projects across a variety of market sectors.
In this role, you will support architectural projects by developing design concepts, presentation materials, and contract documentation. You will assist in preparing rezoning, development permit, building permit, and construction drawing packages, as well as building code and by-law analysis. Your responsibilities will include participating in client presentations and consultant meetings, coordinating consultant design and reviewing shop drawings, and being involved in on-site construction reviews.
This opportunity is ideal for a collaborative and self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for projects and who is interested in opportunities to grow with the firm.
Requirements:
- Ability to think through design issues
- Good organization skills
- Experience with variety of building types and project stages
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Autocad and/or Revit/BIM
- Skills in Sketch-up or Photoshop considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Architecture Degree, Architecture Science Degree or Architectural Technology Diploma Program
